Despite progress in key areas like the #MeToo movement, women’s rights appear to be backsliding in much of the world. In her new book, Helen Lewis takes a look at the complicated, often deeply flawed heroes who broke through the barriers to give women the right to vote, divorce, work, and participate in team sports, among other advances. She discusses with Christiane.
