Join us for an event on the gender implications of COVID-19. Congresswoman Alma Adams, co-chair of the Black Maternal Health Caucus and a champion of women’s health on Capitol Hill, will bring her policy perspective to the impact the pandemic has had on women. We will discuss the effects on women’s health and employment, the increase in violence against women, and the role of race and racism in the COVID-19 response.
