This video was made in celebration of the accomplishments of these Inspirational Muslim Women. It is International Women’s Day and we decided to highlight their stories as they aren’t usually told. These are the stories of influential, powerful and dynamic Muslim women.
There are many sisters that are missing in this video, if you are reading this it probably also includes yourself. There are many Muslim women around the world that are implementing change big or small and are positively impacting the world. May Allah(God) reward all these ladies in our communities and afar for their efforts.
I urge you to share this with anyone that thinks “Muslim women are oppressed” (hahahahaha).
There are some sisters in this video who have passed on, Hodan Nalayeh and Zaha Hadid. May Allah(God) forgive them for all shortcomings and grant them Jannah, ameeen.
